My great interest in artificial intelligence led me to Berlin on the evening of 15 May – thanks to the new ICE line already within a few hours. On the next day the conference “The Rise of AI” took place with more than 800 guests and 75 speakers from 21 different nations. I was very excited to see what would happen there.Continue reading The Rise of AI – A Conference on Artificial Intelligence
175 participants, 10 intensive trainings and a theatrical journey through the 1000-year history of the city of Bamberg – all this has to be organized. People glance at their smartphones an average of 100 times a day. You can see this behavior both on your way home on the subway and to an increasing extent in the workplace. When performing a task in the real world, our attention alternates constantly between observing information that is necessary for performance – on tablets, smartphones and computer screens alike – and focusing on the actual task at hand. Why is it still like that? Why hasn’t the way we consume information changed in more than 15 years?
Hello TopicPilot Users (and Soon-to-be Users),
Searching and finding is exactly what TopicPilot was developed to do. Now you no longer have to start at the beginning every time you want to search for something. Faceted searches have always been a quick way of limiting the number of hits in TopicPilot. The solution also supports the use of QR codes and external links to help you access specific information quickly. Still, filtering can sometimes take a lot of time and effort.
Current trends like digitalization, industry 4.0, mobile computing, social selling and big data will influence the products of tomorrow and, ultimately, impact the future development of our entire society.
Technical documentation is not immune to these changes, of course. On the contrary – information is increasingly becoming the lubricant of our digital world, and who is better placed to provide it than the technical documentation sector? It now has a unique opportunity to leave behind its traditional wallflower image and become a major player in corporate structures.

What is TopicPilot, and what does the product offer?
TopicPilot is our mobile publication platform that makes it possible for users to deliver content throughout a business and to all of a business’ customers. TopicPilot’s USP is its efficient way of finding and making individual topics, documents, videos, or Office files and PDFs available in the blink of an eye. But the best thing is that TopicPilot can be used immediately with existing data without the need for any special adjustments. A high-performance full-text search is another key component of the application and is available both online and offline on mobile iOS and Android devices.
